Merging Thresholds - Social Housing Project

“The city of Moscow is assembled through exploring a variety of experiential, defined, and explorative threshold. Each threshold presents a new opportunity for growth and discovery. The structure works to merge those thresholds specifically the ones defined as interior and exterior space to create a social housing solution centered in biophilia and sustainable design. Not only would a new threshold be created with this conversion but also a new approach to what it means to live in social housing and its drastic comparison to what currently exists.

Project Specifics:

- Social housing focused program that includes a cafe, exhibition space, central courtyard, child play space, and meditative yoga room.

- Contains a variety of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment unit configurations.

- Just under 20,000 sq ft
